On Wednesday May 20, 2020 at approximately 1510hrs the Department responded to a reported smoke investigation and located a Brush Fire burning in the woods off North Country Rd. east of the Shoreham Power Plant. Upon arrival, Brush Truck 8 entered the woods and extinguished the fire with the assistance of Rocky Point Fire Department Brush Truck 6. At the completion of the assignment no injures were reported and all units were back in service at 1624hrs.
