PAST BOARDS OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS

Notes: * = Term of office was not completed.

Highlights:

1964:  Fred Meinhart resigned on 08/14/64 in his 4^th year of his term of office due to moving out of the area.  Roy Carlson was appointed 0n 08/14/64 for the remainder of the year and elected in December 1964 for the remainder of the term.

1973:  Dan Wiwczar resigned on 12/18/73 in his 4^th year of his term of office due to personal reasons.  Rich Larsen was appointed on 12/22/73 and sworn-in in 01/74 for the final year of the term.

2000:  Sam Quinan resigned on 06/30/00 in his 4^th year of his second term due to moving out of the area.  Dan Zaveski was appointed on 07/10/00 for the remainder of 2000 and was elected in December of 2000 for the final year of the term.

2004:  John McManus resigned on 04/12/04 in his 4^th year of his second term of office due to moving out of the area.  Phil Drower was appointed on 04/12/04 for the remainder of 2004 but did not seek election for the final year of the term.  Joe O’Rourke resigned on 08/09/04 in his 2^nd year of his term of office for personal reasons, after serving on the board continuously since 1983.  The position remained vacant for the remainder of the year until the December election.

2005:  Three (3) new board members started in January after securing seats in the 12/04 election.  Jim Meier (5 year term), Tom Lateulere (3 year term) & Matt Wallace (1 year term).

2009:  John Galvin resigned on 09/28/09 in his 3^rd year of his term of office due to moving outside of the fire district.  The position remained unfilled until the December election.

2016:  Tom Lateulere died June 22, 2016 during his 4^th year of his second full term of office.  Randolph Hintze was appointed on 08/22/16 for the remainder of 2016.
