On Sunday October 9, 2022 Wading River Fire Department opened our doors to the public for our annual “Open House”. Members were available to answer questions about the trucks and equipment and during the day provided demonstrations on different equipment and apparatus including a car fire, a vehicle extrication and EMS patient care. Members of the public were able to pick up information on fire prevention and membership opportunities within WRFD. Children of all ages were treated to rides on a fire engine.
